47 North is one of a very few maple products that is produced in Canada from a single source of maple sap. We tap our own trees then produce and bottle all organic maple syrup on site at our packaging facility. This stewardship from the forest to your table is why 47 North maple products are the better choice.

What it takes to be Organic


Tap mature trees Maple trees must be 22cm in diameters typically around 40 years	Don't clear the forest In order to promote biodiversity in the forest we must maintain all tree species. We do not participate in the cutting underbrush or non maple specie to promote growth of the maple trees and higher yields	Use special taps We use only approved spiles that gently penetrate the bark to prevent damage to the maple trees.	No harsh chemicals All chemicals used in the forest and production floor are limit to approved food grade.
