Cammell's runs approximately 350 hives in the greater Auckland region. In the early spring, Cammell's bees pollinate the crops of kiwi-fruit, macadamia nut and even pumpkin growers. The hives are then moved into their summer spots, where they produce delicious Pohutukawa, Manuka and Pasture honey. This honey is extracted in the field and then brought back to our premises in Clevedon to be filtered and packed. Cammell's relies on a network of experienced beekeepers - many of whom have been in beekeeping for longer then Cammell's has.UMF 20 certified unpasteurized Manuka Honey, the content of methylglyoxal (MGO) 829 mg kg. 100 Natural and Pure. Our processing is kept to a minimum. We lessen heat-treating and avoid pasteurization (a process that can damage the UMF levels long-term and alter the quality).
