Hi there, I'm Elisabet Hyland, founder of The Blissful Bump, an online retailer of helpful life-with-baby products through Amazon. I'm all about making life easier for expectant moms and those with toddlers and preschoolers, and let me tell you why.
As a registered nurse, I worked in labor and delivery, pediatrics, and case management/consulting for almost 25 years. I loved my career of helping new moms thrive! Then, lo and behold, I became a new mom myself–at age 41!
The nursing profession still drew me, but my yearning to be a full time mom won out. Having waited so long to be a mother, I didn't want to miss a single milestone! Fast forward four blissful years and two more babies. I was living the dream, caring for my own dear little brood. But alas, said hubs (oh so lovingly), the family budget shortfall was demanding our attention. The challenge before me: how to build a work-from-home business that leverages both my clinical and mothering experience to empower expectant and new moms.
The Blissful Bump is my answer to that challenge. I know as a nurse and a mom that day to day life with babies and rambunctious toddlers requires ALL the superpowers we have. ("Whoa! Hand that to Mommy, darling!") So staying organized in the midst of chaos is key.
To help simplify mom's life, I have opened my line of baby and toddler products starting with The Blissful Bump Diaper Caddy. I continue to seek out and offer my loyal customers the most trendy and practical products for new families (and those trying to conceive). I've been there. I hear you.
