Sugaring is one of the oldest hair removal methods in the world, but has only become popular in Europe in recent years due to its good tolerance. Dr. Severin Sugaring Paste is free of perfumes and manufactured according to the age-old, proven traditional formula. Only the manufacturing process has been changed to create even better handling and tolerance. Application: thoroughly clean the area to be depilated so that there are no grease or cream residues on the skin. You can heat the sugar paste in the microwave (600W) for about 15-30s, but we recommend heating the paste in a water bath until it is soft. This will ensure that the paste is heated evenly throughout the container. Note that no water should get into the plastic container. Test the temperature carefully - risk of burns! Apply the paste very slowly to the skin with two fingers, against the direction of growth of your hair. Slowly but firmly stroke the skin strip twice more with your index and middle fingers against the direction of hair growth. Then pull the paste off with a quick jerk in the opposite direction (i.e. with the hair growth). To soothe the skin afterwards, we recommend the cooling Dr. Severin Original Body Aftershave Balm. To prevent ingrown hairs, exfoliate regularly with the specially developed Dr. Severin Enzyme Sea Salt Scrub.
