Purpose of Layout Block System
Your 6" layout block system holds glass pieces tightly in place to keep projects square and edges straight. They work as a temporary frame for holding the pieces of your stained glass in place for soldering.
Easy to Use
To use, simply position the 6" aluminum blocks around the outside edges of your project. This block system has an "L" shaped layout. The vertical part of the layout pushes up against the glass. For the horizontal portion, there is a perforated surface that is secured in place with the included push pins to ensure that the glass will not slide easily. Thanks to the predrilled holes, using the push pins is easy. It can be fixed on cork, ceiling tile or a similar material. Your system is configured to fit multiple panels sizes up to 16" x 26".
Organization
By using your layout block system you can layout straight lines and 90º corners with ease when organizing your glass project. Your layout will hold the glass pieces tight to keep the panels straight so soldering the pieces together is easier.
Copper Foil Tape for Stained Glass
Included in this deal is an easy-to-apply 36 yard roll of durable waterproof double-sided conductive adhesive for soldering. It has a built-in dispenser that keeps the roll orderly. This standard 7/32" width and 1 mm thick copper foil tape is great for stained glass making. Your tape has amazing resistance to temperature and weathering.
Dimensions
You will have ten 6" L blocks and 40 push pins to work with to configure multiple panels for sizes up to 16" x 26". This convenient holder for stained glass will help you to weld beautiful colored glass easily.
