Frequently Asked Questions
- 1. Why the majority of hair didn't come out
Usually, it can be due to 3 situation.
a. Wax too long or too short hair while the ideal length Is between 1/4 to 3/4 inch.
b. Not get the right amount of pressure to the skin for the wax to fully grab onto hair.
c. Pull the strip straight up(not stay close and parallel to the skin)
- 2. Do I always need to use a pre-wax treatment
If you have sweaty/oily/too dry skin, it is recommended that you use a pre-wax treatment. If no pre-wax treatment spray is available, you can use baby powder before waxing, and apply lotion after the wax.
- 3. Why does the wax keep breaking
Wax that is too dry or does not stay on the skin long enough, and uneven waxing will make a big difference in the drying speed of different parts leading to wax fracture. Use applicator stick, try to apply the wax evenly on the part you want waxed and make a "lip" with the wax. That way you can pull up the wax a little bit (once it dries).
- 4. How to clean residual wax
There are 3 ways.
a. Heat a wax warmer to melt any remaining wax into a liquid. Wipe off any remaining wax residue with mineral oil and paper or wax strips. The oil will dissolve the wax.
b. Use a spatula to scrape off the wax - but it may harm the container.
c. Use a special wax warmer cleaner.
