In 1890 Sebastian Kneipp met Würzburg pharmacist Leonhard Oberhäußer. Through mutual conviction to do something good with naturopathic healing methods became close collaborators and good friends. Based on the essences of natural plants and other pure components they created recipes that are currently still the basis of Kneipp products.
As the basis of these agreements the company Kneipp was founded, which for generations has been developing high quality medicines, food supplements and care products under the name of the Kneipp brand. Until today the company has committed itself to the maximum naturopathic heritage of its co-founder and to the giver of its name Sebastian Kneipp.
