The importance of Good Dental Hygiene

Dental disease is one of the most common problems affecting dogs and cats today. Annual teeth cleaning combined with conscientious home dental care will significantly reduce oral bacterial toxin production.

Poor dental care can result in periodontitis which causes bad breath, loose teeth, sore gums and even cavities.

Some pet dental pastes require application with a toothbrush but VetIQ's 2in1 Denti-care paste works effectively without the need for brushing.

Once the dental paste is in the mouth the active ingredients begin to work on the plaque & tartar. The grainy consistency of the paste, when rubbed against the teeth surface helps to remove and loosen the plaque and tartar.

Once the paste has been ingested, into the stomach it begins its next job. Our pets breath can be unbearable at time but did you know that a lot of this comes from the stomach. 2in1 Denti-care paste contains parsley, eucalyptus & cinnamon oils to help reduce the smell that emulates every time your pet belches.


FRESHENS BREATH Contains natural breath freshening and anti bacterial agents, eucalyptus, parsley and cinnamon oils which are natural deodorising substances that effectively freshen breath and also possess natural anti-microbial properties to reduce bacterial growth in the mouth to help reduce odours.	REDUCES TARTAR BUILD UP The paste contains a mild abrasive agent that gives it a grainy consistency . When rubbed against the surface of the teeth this helps to remove and loosen the plaque and tartar and aids in physically removing debris from teeth and gums.	NO BRUSHING REQUIRED Simply apply the paste along the gum and teeth line, then holding the outside of the dogs muzzle gently massage in a circular motion. The thick texture paste moulds around the dog's teeth and gums and the dog, using its tongue, licks the paste from around the teeth and gums and so effectively cleans its own teeth . Using the nozzle provided, apply the paste with care directly onto your pets gums just above the teeth and then holding the outside of your pets mouth, massage gently in a circular motion. Once it's in the mouth the thick texture paste moulds around the pets teeth and gums. The pet then using its tongue, licks the paste from around the teeth and gums and so effectively cleans its own teeth.
