MATRIX, a recognized hair care and professional coloring company in the United States. Matrix was founded in 1980 by the American hairdressing team consisting of husband and wife, Arnie and Sydell Miller. Before founding Matrix, Mr. Miller was a hairdresser for over 20 years. Mr. Miller decided to try his luck running a different type of company in 1971, when he developed individually applied eyelashes.

"I felt like to succeed, I needed more focus. I chose the professional ending because I knew the business and I liked it more," he said.

The Millers wanted to give hairdressers a wide range of products that would help them grow their businesses and provide the means to make the most of their talent and creativity.
