Bruce FaBrizio is most widely known as the Founder, CEO and Chairman of Sunshine Makers, the company that manufactures Simple Green cleaning products. But to those who know him best, he is an innate philanthropist, encouraging people to "Think Globally, Act Locally" as a way to affect positive change. Bruce's initial interest in products stemmed from witnessing a fatal chemical accident while working with his father in the 1970s. They knew they could develop something better than the existing chemicals then being used. The result was Simple Green. Bruce grew the company from the humble beginnings of a single-van operation to a global enterprise. Simple Green was first used to remove tannic acid from coffee roasting machinery. It then extended to automotive and industrial customers who used it to remove grease and stains from equipment and flooring.
