Ingredients for example 1kg batch
- Minced meat - 890g
- Burger seasoning - 25g
- Tongmaster Rusk - 45g
- Water (Chilled) - 40ml
Method:
- Add burger seasoning to mince meat and mix thoroughly.
- Add Tongmaster rusk and mix thoroughly.
- Add chilled water and mix until combined.
- Press into burgers using the palm of your hand or a burger press.
For best results:
- The colder the meat and water, the better the appearance and life of the burger.
- Leave burgers in the fridge overnight to allow the herbs and spices to marinade with meat.
- Use Tongmaster cellophane burger discs between your burgers before they are frozen allowing you to easily separate the burgers before cooking.
- Suitable for freezing.
For a larger batch
- Add 25g seasoning for every 1kg of meat
- Add 40 - 50g of rusk for every 1kg of meat
