Side Teethers Attached to the Glove

The side teethers on the glove are made of 100% food grade silicone and are perfectly sized for tiny mouths. They are BPA, latex & Phthalate free. They are specifically designed so that baby can bite down hard so that they can get pain relief from teething, rather than chewing on their fingers and causing soreness and irritation. They are perfectly placed, ergonomically designed so that when baby puts their hand to their mouth, the teether is right where they need it immediately. There is one on each side so that the glove can be worn on either hand. The textured surface also helps to massage baby's gums. You can also pop some teething gel on to the side teethers so that baby can get it right to the source of the pain.

It helps to keep your baby's hand dry as it is breathable cotton and has 3 layers on the inside to keep drool away from the hand and the face which helps prevent teething rashes. The breathable cotton keeps little ones hands ventilated and clean, preventing mould growth inside the inner layers (which is a massive issue with most teething mittens on the market). Adjustable Closure

Highly adjustable and designed to be secured as tight or as loose as you need. Recommended to be tightened around the baby's wrist not over the top of clothing. This will create a comfortable, secure fastening. We use a gentle hook and loop closure which makes it adjustable, therefore being a non drop teether for your little one. Practicality and hygiene feature very high on our priority list when we design products for your little ones, which is why Gummee glove is the perfect teether - it can't be thrown on the floor.

Detachable Heart Teether

The Gummee glove teething mitten features a detachable heart shaped teething ring which is included with the product and can be refrigerated to help soothe those hot, itchy gums. It is a good idea to introduce baby to the glove without the heart teether inserted at first, just until they are familiar with the glove and have greater dexterity. The heart is added to the glove by way of a pocket in the top and held in with a very secure popper that keeps it in place. When the glove no longer fits, the heart can be taken out and used by little one for the rest of their teething journey as it is perfect for little hands to hold. The heart was designed to have a similar mouth feel as a finger so they will chew on the heart rather than their fingers. It is also made from 100% food grade silicone. We have also included a laundry/travel pouch for hygienic transportation. It's basically all you need for a teething baby, and so would make the perfect, premium baby shower gift.

Various Colours

The Gummee glove comes in 4 different colours Turquoise, Yellow, Pink and Black/White. The Gummee glove is for babies aged 3-6 months but can usually be used for many more months. If your little one is 6 months or older, we recommend buying the Gummee glove PLUS which is bigger and will then last for longer, this only comes in Turquoise for now.

Black and White Crinkle Effect

Used and recommended by midwives and health professionals, our teething mitten helps babies improve hand eye co-ordination and the black and white crinkle patch helps them to understand cause and effect, developing their hearing and sense of touch. Black and White is the most stimulating colours for baby at an early age, we get lots of positive feedback about this feature and its effects on babies and their development.

Machine Washable

So how do you clean the Gummee glove once baby has had a good chewSimple! Gummee Mummee thought about that too. Every Gummee glove comes with a free laundry/travel draw-string pouch. Simply pop the teething mitt into the pouch, pull the cord tight and loosely knot it, then pop in the washing machine with colours at a low temperature (40 degrees max.) - et voila! :) The heart shaped teething ring can be washed in warm soapy water or sterilised using any of the usual methods. The glove can also go into the dryer but we do ask that you wipe the silicone side teethers after as they can attract lint.
