Olde Thompson was originally started in 1944 by George S. Thompson, recently retired from military duty in Europe. He founded The George S. Thompson Company to "introduce" pepper mills to the U.S. market. Over 75 years later, we are the manufacturer of salt and pepper mills in the world and a manufacturer of private label and branded dry spices and seasonings.
