For best results, please read the measurement precautions. Important!
- 1. Please wait at least 30 minutes after your pet's physical exercise before taking a measurement
- 2. Before measuring the temperature from the ear canal, please clean the ear wax, if any.
- 3. Do not pull out your dog's ears too deeply. Dogs have curved ears and it is easy to cause injury if you pull them out too deeply. Cleaning your dog's ear canal once or twice a week is a good idea.
- 4. Make sure the sensor is clean before each measurement.
- 5. If taking multiple measurements in a row, please wait 5 seconds between each measurement.
- 6. Your pet's normal body temperature is approximately 102.2~104F. If the temperature is much higher or lower than this, please consult your veterinarian.
