The Prep
Two days before you wax, it's a good idea to exfoliate your legs ( or other part) to remove dead skin, but don't do this immediately prior to the leg wax.
Length Is Key,Make Sure You Have Enough Hair
For maximum results, it is ideal to grow hair out to at least 1/4 -1 of an inch before going in for your first wax, because it allows the wax to get a better hold on the hair and pull it directly from the root, preventing the hair from breaking.
Depending on where you're getting waxed, you can either trim hair the day before or shave far enough in advance so that hair grows to this optimum length for your appointment date. Once you've begun waxing, book your appointments in conjunction with your hair growth, typically every three-to-five weeks.
The How-To wax your legs (or other part)
1. Apply a light pre-wax water(include in this wax kit) to skin. Pre-wax water removes oils helping the wax stick better to hair.
2. Ideally, you want to work in small sections. Apply wax in the direction of hair growth. Hold the stick at a 90-degree angle and apply a smooth, thin layer.
3. After wax cools, to remove wax, quickly peel it in the opposite direction of hair growth. Don't pull straight up, it's less painful to keep the strip as close to skin as possible. (Stripless Hard Wax, DO NOT need to use strips).
4.Apply after-wax water to remove excess wax on skin and try to prevent ingrown hairs. Do not try to remove wax with hot water.
Please pay attention to skin care after waxing to avoid skin redness.
