The build quality is excellent…all CNC machined. It moves and locks in place with precision. Mounted on top of a mini tripod, it makes an excellent setup for macro photography and panoramas.
I liked how light and compact the product was and how it easily fit in my bag. The design is nice as well as the feature of being able to pull out the knobs slightly in case they get stuck under something. It could handle my camera's weight well and the movement of the levers was very smooth.
That original Z bracket was just awful. THIS one however was fantastic. The build quality is night and day different. This is going to be a big game changer for the shots I am going to be able to get with my slider shots.

The adopted finger-fork design multiplies the number of contact surfaces to strengthen the total friction. More the friction there is, the plate is more impossible to shift. Each joint with two finger-forks increase to 4 surfaces. As known that two joints conjunct two plates, therefore the friction is produced by 8-surfaces joints, far stronger than similar products with a total of 4 surfaces.
